| I joined ebay in the year 2000 and have been selling on ebay since 2002. In Sept. 2006 I had to turn my ebay "hobby" into a legal business... I was just making too much money ! Now my ebay business IS my full time job. On December 7th 2006 I became a Power Seller. I must admit, I love getting out of bed in the morning, going into my home office and seeing how many products I've sold during the night !
Prior to developing my own ebay business I was a full time Graphic Artist / Web Designer. I've also taught Adobe Persuasion (similar to Microsoft Power Point), Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and QuarkXPress at a local college and at a technical trade school. Prior to working in graphics I was a Systems Engineer, Lotus Notes Database Administrator and Computer Repair/Help Desk Specialist. I was always able to do technical work but I didn't love what I was doing, so I changed fields into Graphic Arts and never looked back.
I'm also an accomplished digital photographer who has won three different photo contests. My latest accomplishment however, has been to learn QuickBooks Premier (Manufacturing and Wholesale) accounting program to track my business. In addition to that I'm also using ebay's Accounting Assistant to download all of my transactions from ebay and Paypal right into my QuickBooks software. No manual data entry for this lady ! So as an ebay instructor I will be able to help with every aspect of running an ebay business.
